In her current role as Tourism Industry Workforce Advisor at Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC), Emma works closely with operators, industry bodies and regional stakeholders to address workforce challenges and strengthen talent pipelines across Queensland’s tourism sector. Her work focuses on future-proofing the industry’s workforce through practical workforce solutions, strategic planning and capability uplift.
Previously, Emma has delivered substantial transformation projects in roles such as People and Culture Manager (APAC) at Kip McGrath Education Centres, Talent & Culture Manager at Accor, Executive Recruitment Consultant, and Director of her consultancy, Culture Shift. Across these positions, she has developed and implemented HR initiatives that enhance staff engagement, improve business processes and support long-term workforce success.
