Giuliana is a dynamic and accomplished arts leader with over 17 years of experience in Queensland’s cultural sector. As the General Manager of The Empire in Toowoomba, she is a passionate advocate for regional arts, dedicated to fostering creativity and connection.
Having worked extensively across regional and Far North Queensland, Giuliana has a strong focus on raising awareness of First Nations regional arts practice. She builds and maintains deep industry relationships, proactively seeks collaborative partnerships, and brings a fresh perspective to traditional marketing avenues.
Beyond her leadership role, Giuliana contributes to the arts community as a member of the Backbone Youth Arts Board and the Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre (QAEMT) Industry Advisory Board. She also serves as Secretary on the Stage Queensland Management Committee.
With a background in marketing and communications, Giuliana brings a strategic approach to arts leadership. At Brisbane Powerhouse, she led a team supporting over 1,250 performances and events annually, demonstrating her ability to cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and drive philanthropic initiatives. She understands the powerful link between tourism and the arts, ensuring her work continues to elevate the cultural landscape.
