Queensland Country Tourism is proud to continue its involvement in the Queensland Welcomes You initiative.
Queensland Welcomes You is a free online training program designed to help tourism operators, hospitality teams, event staff, volunteers and local communities build the skills and confidence needed to create warm, inclusive and memorable visitor experiences.
Each program is tailored to one of Queensland’s 13 tourism regions, incorporating local stories, culture and products to reflect the distinct character of each destination. The initiative is proudly supported by the Queensland Government and Tourism and Events Queensland.
The training is available to all businesses and individuals who play a role in welcoming and hosting visitors across Queensland Country.
