Helen Bradshaw

Administration Support Officer

Helen holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Animal Science) from the University of Queensland and has built a diverse career spanning government, corporate, and academic sectors. She has worked with the Department of Natural Resources and Mines and the Department of Main Roads in Emerald, gaining valuable experience in resource management and infrastructure projects.

Her passion for travel led her to London, where she worked as an Executive Assistant for a multinational corporation’s European Operations Team. Upon returning to Australia, she joined UniSQ as an Executive Assistant, supporting senior leadership within the Faculty of Sciences.

Now part of the Queensland Country Tourism team as an Administration Support Officer, Helen brings strong organisational and administrative expertise to the role.

Beyond work, Helen and her husband Hugh own a local independent optometry practice in Toowoomba, where she manages finance and HR. She is also actively involved in the community, volunteering with local school initiatives and supporting grassroots sporting programs. Outside of her professional commitments, Helen enjoys a busy family life, cheering on her three children in their sporting pursuits.
